The second meeting of Guys Who Care North Simcoe was held at Lot 102 in Midland on 11th May 2016.
Once again we heard ‘pitches’ from three speakers chosen at random and then voted by ballot to decide the recipient. This time Scott Warnock spoke on behalf of the winner of the vote, the Society of St Vincent de Paul – St. Mary’s Conference, Victoria Harbour. A total of $14,225 was presented to a very delighted local charity!
Also at the meeting was Julianna Matyas from We Are The Villagers, the recipient charity of our inaugural meeting, addressed our group and outlined how many children had been helped as a direct result of the $15,000 donation made by the group in December 2015.
An even larger turnout for our second meeting in May 2016.
